PnP is based in the North West of England which is the centre of the UK – this enables us to offer National Coverage for repairs, service and commissioning throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

As we keep a comprehensive stock of ALL parts for every model of Danfoss inverters up to 500KW, we can guarantee to have an engineer on your premises next day with all the spares required to provide a one visit fix.

Energy Saving

   PnP can provide COST EFFECTIVE solutions to help cut your energy costs. Fuel Tariffs have been rising dramatically and this trend is set to continue with many sites having seen their energy costs more than double in the last 2 years.

The key starting point for any successful energy saving plan is to determine initially just where energy can be saved. This is an area in which PnP specialises and excels with the application of variable speed drives. Some of our customers have seen a return on their investment in as little as 6 months.

The largest immediate savings are most likely to be found with the motors driving centrifugal pump and fan units. These operate against a set of affinity laws which dictate how throughput volume, system pressure, absorbed power and noise vary with the speed of the fan or pump impeller. These are variable torque units and by reducing the motor speed by 20% this will yield a 50% reduction in energy consumption and a greatly reduced noise level. Consider the fact that a pump or fan that runs 24 hours a day all year round will use well over 10 times its purchase cost in electricity every year!

Workshop Repair

PnP has a 4,400sq ft workshop and warehouse which now has load testing facilities for up to 110KW .

We also have many different application test rigs including positioning,Synchronizing, Hoist, Pump and conveyor controller test rigs. These give us the capability to test more of the drives functionality.

There are also field bus communication test rigs including Devicenet, Lonworks and Profibus which can also be used to provide Training Courses suited to customer requirements.

Training

If you have Danfoss drive products on your site, PnP can provide in-depth, official,Danfoss VLT training coursesat your site, in our workshop or a local venue for instance.

This can be very useful if you have plant/machinery that is crucial to yourbusiness, such as water pumps,extraction fans, process/production lines, compressors etc. - Good training can mean your staff can be your “first-line” of support, and this may make a real difference if minimal” down-time” is essential.

VLT Site retrofit Upgrades

PnP can offer a New for Old Upgrade Service and Retrofit projects. The idea is to replace or add equipment to production plants to improve their efficiency, increase their output and extend their lifespan.

We have replaced the older VLT5000 series with the new FC302 Automation Drive on profibus networks at many large breweries across the UK.

These new installations have given our customers extended product warranties, full new product support and a comprehesive Spares Package.

Installation / Commissioning

PnP Motion Controls can provide full installation and application commissioning on all Danfoss Drives. We stock a large range of Danfoss inverter drive units both Brand new and refurbished, which can be used for new installations or replacements during emergency breakdowns.
